Overview

Master of Science in STEM Education is a 36-credit hour programme, that is designed to reflect the current thinking and trends in STEM Education. Some major goals of the programme are to provide educators and professionals with an opportunity to:

  • engage in professional growth experiences associated with becoming STEM educators, STEM instructional supervisors, and STEM master teachers.
  • develop specialized expertise associated with leadership roles such as STEM programme administrator or STEM curriculum specialist/consultant and mentor.
  • extend basic knowledge and understanding that leads to expertise in interpreting STEM research and/or pursuing action or applied research.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following areas:

  • Primary Education
  • Secondary Education
  • Any other STEM related area

Candidates should have attained a ‘B’ average or above or equivalent to Upper Second Class Honours or above.

Applicants without a STEM related area are also eligible; however, conditions apply.
