Mrs. Ritwa Smith has been a committed educator for more than two (2) decades, armed with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Language Education – Literacy Studies and Educational Technology, respectively. As a lifelong learner, she has completed several technology related courses.  

She has been serving in the position of Director of ICT & Online Education since September 2020.  Prior to this appointment, she served as the Head of Department, Information and Communication Technology, September 2018 – August 2020, and as a lecturer in the Professional Studies Department.

As Director of ICT & Online Education, Mrs. Smith is responsible for the planning and provision of Information Technology Services at Shortwood Teachers’ College and facilitating the delivery of IT services across the college campus.
